Mindful eating starts before you take the first bite. Consider where your food came from, the effort that went into growing or preparing it. Take a moment to appreciate the colors, aromas, and presentation. This gratitude practice enhances the eating experience.

Eat without distractions when possible. Turn off screens, put away work, and focus on your meal. This allows you to fully experience the food and notice when you're satisfied. Eating slowly gives your body time to signal fullness, preventing overeating.
